Jamie Tarrow

Program Director - Flint

Jamie Tarrow has been working at Taylor Life Center since 2006. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan.

Jamie’s interest in the mental health community started in 2006 when she contributed to poster sessions at the American Educational Research Association’s annual meeting. Jamie also worked as a research assistant at the University of Michigan Department of Psychology studying children’s literacy development.

Later in 2006, Jamie came to work at Taylor Life Center as a clinical therapist and case manager and is now the program director for all our outpatient services in Flint. Jamie has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is Taylor Life Center's DBT Team Leader.

Jamie is a member of NASW (National Association of Social Workers), ACSW (Academy of Certified Social Workers), and is a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor. Jamie enjoys reading murder mysteries along with spending time with her friends and family.
