About Us

History

Taylor Life Center (TLC) began in 2004 when Kathy Taylor was appointed as chief executive officer of what was formerly Consumer Services, Inc. At that time, the organization was serving 19 consumers through residential/CLS services. In 2006, TLC expanded to provide case management and therapy services in Genesee County. Over the next four years, TLC increased services in several communities across Michigan. The company officially began doing business as Taylor Life Center in 2010 and all locations adopted the name change in 2016. Over the years, the service offering expanded to include psychiatric, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and supports coordination services. Now known as Taylor Life Center, the organization has grown into a multi-million dollar organization helping thousands of consumers throughout southeast Michigan annually.
