About Us

Consumer Services, Inc. began in 2004 when Kathy Taylor took the position as the chief executive officer. At that time, the organization was working with only 19 clients through case management services. In 2006, Consumer Services, Inc. expanded case management services in Genesee County and also began providing therapy. Over the next four years, additional therapy locations were acquired throughout Michigan. In 2010, all therapy centers were renamed to Taylor Life Center. Over the years, the service offering expanded to include residential, personal care, supports coordination, and psychiatric services. Since it's establishment in 2004, Taylor Life Center/Consumer Services, Inc. has grown into a multi-million dollar organization helping over 11,000 clients annually. Currently, Taylor LIfe Center/Consumer Services, Inc. provides or contracts services in 27 different Michigan counties.
